How to qualify and when to claim tokens

Cashmere Labs has confirmed plans to distribute its upcoming CSM token through an airdrop for early users and NFT holders, with the project outlining eligibility requirements ahead of its planned token launch.

Summary

  • Cashmere Labs has confirmed plans to distribute CSM tokens to Barn Raising participants, Goat Street NFT activators and early users of its decentralized finance products.
  • The project has not announced an official airdrop claim date or portal, while wallets that have listed Goat Street NFTs for sale on OpenSea face exclusion from the distribution.
  • Cashmere plans to reserve 65% of its maximum 666 million CSM supply for ongoing rewards through Mountain, where eligible Barn and Goat Street NFT holders can earn tokens.
  • The upcoming Barn Raising event will introduce 1,000 founding Barn NFTs, with guaranteed allocations priced at 0.125 ETH and whitelist purchases priced at 0.25 ETH.

According to its October 19 roadmap, the airdrop will target three groups: Barn Raising participants, Goat Street NFT activators and early adopters of Cashmere’s existing products.

While the project has identified the groups that could receive tokens, it has not announced a claim date, snapshot schedule or official claim portal. The final eligibility requirements and individual allocations will be disclosed separately.

Cashmere Labs, which was incubated by Binance Labs, now known as YZi Labs, operates cross-chain asset transfer and liquidity management services. Its upcoming CSM token will support Mountain, a new NFT-based issuance platform being developed on Robinhood Chain.

Who is eligible for the Cashmere Labs CSM airdrop?

Under the proposed distribution, users who participate in the upcoming Barn Raising event will be among those eligible for the airdrop.

Barn Raising is a planned sale of 1,000 founding Barn NFTs, which will eventually allow their owners to earn CSM through Mountain’s ongoing token issuance system.

Existing Goat Street NFT holders who have activated their NFTs form the second eligible group. Goat Street is Cashmere’s collection of 6,666 NFTs on Robinhood Chain, with activation giving holders access to rewards and other ecosystem benefits.

The third category covers early adopters of Cashmere’s services, although the team has not specified which past activities will count towards the distribution.

There is one notable exclusion affecting Goat Street holders.

Cashmere said wallets that have listed their Goat Street NFTs for sale on OpenSea will be excluded from the airdrop. The company has not specified the historical period used to determine whether a wallet falls under this restriction.

In an earlier September 26 announcement, the project said eligible activators and early adopters would receive CSM allocations equivalent in value to their NFT activation fees.

How can users claim CSM tokens?

Although Cashmere has confirmed the planned airdrop, users cannot yet redeem their allocations because the official claiming process has not been released.

The project intends to publish eligibility lists, snapshot information and claim instructions through its official channels before distribution begins.

For Goat Street holders, participation currently involves activating eligible NFTs through the Cashmere application, while prospective Barn participants will need to follow the separate application and sale process.

Cashmere’s October 31 Mountain specifications indicated that applications for guaranteed Barn allocations would be announced within a week.

Once applications open, existing Goat Street and Cashmere Early Goat NFT holders are expected to receive priority for guaranteed and whitelist allocations.

Approved participants with guaranteed spots can purchase Barns for 0.125 ETH, while whitelisted buyers will pay 0.25 ETH through a first come, first served sale.

Remaining Barns will be offered through a Dutch auction starting at 1.5 ETH and gradually declining to 0.25 ETH.

Public buyers will ultimately pay the final auction price, with excess payments refunded by the team.

The Barn sale and airdrop are separate arrangements, meaning purchasing a Barn is not itself the process for claiming previously allocated CSM tokens.

How will Mountain distribute 65% of CSM supply?

Beyond the planned airdrop, Cashmere intends to distribute most of its native token supply through Mountain.

CSM will have a maximum supply of 666 million tokens, with 432.9 million, representing 65%, reserved for ongoing issuance through Barns and Goat Street NFTs.

Another 166.5 million tokens, or 25%, will be allocated to the team and treasury under a vesting arrangement. The remaining 66.6 million tokens will provide liquidity for the official ETH/CSM trading pool on Uniswap v4.

Within Mountain, Barns will function as soulbound NFTs that cannot be freely transferred between wallets.

Each Barn initially contains one stall and can accommodate up to ten, with additional capacity obtained through Stall Permits purchased using CSM or through eligible Goat Street NFTs.

Once issuance begins, participating stalls will receive newly created CSM every second, with rewards divided among eligible participants.

Goat Street holders can permanently bind their NFTs to Mountain to receive a separate share of issuance, although bound NFTs cannot subsequently be withdrawn or sold.

The issuance rate will depend on a daily base amount and a seasonal multiplier ranging from 0.20 to 1.25, initially set at 1.00.

Cashmere expands services ahead of CSM launch

Cashmere has continued developing its decentralized finance products while preparing Mountain for launch.

On October 21, the project introduced Goat LP, which supports automated liquidity management for Uniswap v3 and v4 positions on Robinhood Chain.

Its features include automatic fee reinvestment, liquidity range adjustments and position exits, with users retaining ownership of their underlying position NFTs.

The company subsequently introduced AI agent integration on October 27, allowing compatible agents to monitor and manage supported liquidity positions.

On November 2, Cashmere announced Bridge V2, which it said connects more than 30 providers across over 60 blockchain networks through a single swap interface.

The upgraded service allows users to compare available routes for cross-chain and same-chain transactions.

Cashmere has separately outlined plans for a launchpad, while Mountain’s smart contracts are expected to undergo an external security audit before the platform becomes publicly available.
