Gokongwei-backed digital bank GoTyme Bank reported it reached 10 million users as of July 2026, three years after its initial launch. The company stated its total customer deposits have exceeded P53 billion, or approximately $861.45 million.

The growth aligned with the bank’s target for the middle of the year. GoTyme previously announced it aims to record nearly 12 million customers by the end of 2026 and expects to attain profitability by 2027.

According to a company statement, GoTyme Bank CEO Nate Clarke attributed the increase in users to customer trust.

“Reaching 10 million users is an important milestone on our journey to become the Philippines’ largest and most loved bank, but for us, it’s really about the trust that millions of Filipinos place in GoTyme Bank every day,” Clarke said. “We’re grateful to our customers for choosing us, and we’ll continue working to make banking simpler, more accessible, more affordable, and more beautiful for everyone.” (Read More: (July 2026) List of Digital Banks With High Interest Rates in the Philippines)

Retail Network Expansion

The digital bank credited its growing customer base to the wider use of its services and the expansion of its physical network. GoTyme operates more than 600 kiosks in Robinsons Retail outlets and SM Stores nationwide, supported by over 1,200 bank ambassadors.

Users can process cash deposits and withdrawals at over 2,500 Robinsons Retail checkout lanes. Furthermore, the company stated that customers can deposit cash at more than 4,500 7-Eleven branches across the country.

Citing internal data from the card network, GoTyme noted its physical card was the most used Visa debit card in the Philippines in 2025.

Transaction Fees

The user base report follows a recent Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) policy that prompted digital banks and e-wallet operators to reduce or waive InstaPay and PESONet fees to make transactions more affordable. According to the bank, GoTyme had already been providing users with up to 20 free InstaPay transfers per month prior to the new central bank regulations.
